Intermediate surfboards are good to progress onto once you are consistently taking off under control on unbroken waves. Our surf hire has an intermediate board in every size required, allowing you to hav a go at longboards, mini-mals, & shortboards.

A. It is generally down to height, weight and ability. However, it will usually be between 7.5 – 8.5ft.

A. Intermediate surfboards are a much tougher construction, allowing you to surf without worrying about damaging the board during wipeouts.
