Surf Lessons For Scouts
Surfing or bodyboarding are great activities for scout groups to enjoy.
If it’s the first year your club is looking to surf with us or if it’s for a return trip, we can cater the lesson and equipment to your requirements!
Taking your scout group out for a surf lesson is an experience that you and the scouts will not forget. Our lessons are designed to be challenging yet rewarding but most importantly fun! Across the two hours we will teach you how to carry the surfboard, catching a wave and various ways of standing up. The lesson is broken down to beach and ocean elements with a most of your time spent in the water. Our location of being perched right on Fistral Beach means you will get more time in the sea than other schools can offer.
Booking with us is hassle free as all the equipment is included in the price as is free parking for minibuses and coaches. We are also able to provide all insurances and risk assessments you may require for your trip. Fistral also has extensive RNLI lifeguard cover so is an extremely well looked after location to pick for your surfing trip.
On arrival we will get all the participants kitted up and ready for their surf lesson. We have changing rooms with lockers so you can leave your valuables behind whilst you enjoy the waves. After your lesson we have hot showers so that you can warm up post-surf (subject to current restrictions).
All our instructors are qualified beach lifeguards and ISA surf instructors with a real passion for surfing and carry full DBS checks.
Fistral beach is the home of British surfing so what better place to learn?! We’ve been operating for over 20 years and have a strong dedicated team with a wealth of knowledge. Bringing your Scout group to a surf lesson is an experience they are never going to forget. Children must be aged 8 and above to join and participants will have to bring their own towel and swimwear.
